    I see you got it. What I have done is turn the heat up high and then cast . When it all works good then turn down the heat. I have a few NOE molds and mainly look for the HP ones if I have a choice . But do preheat also on a hot plate.

    I go with 357 mag because you can match the ammo with both the lever and handgun.It would take care of all I will deal with.Just use the bullet to match what I want to shoot.

    For what I do for no double charge is to after i prime the cases. I flip them up side down. and have on one side of me and then charge them .it stop the double charge.it works for me.

    If the brass is to bad I use Citric Acid and hot boil water. and just drop the brass in it for about 1 to 2 min. and take it out and drop in cold water and then they are clean and then after they are dry i use corn cobs in my tumbler with the brass...

    I started to cast sinkers with my dad when I was small and then in the mid 80's I start to cast bullets on my own beside reload handgun and rifle. Was doing shotgun with my dad when I was small also.

    When you melt one that think is wet or along that line like stated start with low heat and then go from there. Empty the pot and then start over. Do not add lead to the mix once it is all melt for you.then you will start to get to have problems...
