For many years the Lee 429-240 SWC was all I loaded for my 44 Remington Magnum. The S&W Model 29-2 seemed to dote on that boolit If I were to recommend one Lee mold for that cartridge, the 240 SWC would be it. Kevin

Thank you for doing that research. It is way beyond my ken to accumulate but I can learn from hour reports. I loaded many thousand of the Skeeter load and shot them in numerous Magnum revolvers, mostly through my old Model 27-4. About 4 decades...

I have a few of the Lee HP moulds. Easy to use once they are hot. As to are they worth doing? Do you like HP boolits? Then yes. Me, I like DEWC boolits and have them in 38 and 45 calibers which covers my SD needs. Kevin

I prefer brass to not be cleaned. It's much easier to tell if its once fired or multiple fired.

That would be correct if you were necking .243 Win to .260 Rem since the cases are the same length. With the 6.5 CM you are sizing the shoulder and body down to form the neck on a shorter case than the 243 Win.

Coming for a precision competitive background I had very little use for full auto. That is until I got to play with them some. It's hard to have that much fun with your clothes on. Rambo-ing an M60 with a 200 round belt is something that you...

While per Dave Emary Hornady's senior ballistics scientist the Creedmoor’s parent case is the.30 TC but that is mostly marketing hype. It's actually the brainchild of Denise DeMille and like a whole host of others like the 6mmXC, 240 NMC, 6mm...

Killed between 40 and 50 whitetail buck and a few does with a 243 most with one shot. Depending on angle and size I found a couple of bullets just under the skin. Never lost one or had a hard recovery.

Funny thing about “balloon head” brass. It was originally known as solid head brass and often the headstamp would include an S and an H on either side of the primer. Slid compared to the folded head cases. Kevin
