30calflash replied to a thread 30-30 load request in Leverguns
Thanks for the info thus far. I'm not trying to push it to the max, just what factory loads do. Only with jacs at this point. I hope to run some this weekend on a range that has 300 yards available and want to see what it's capable of, I don't...

Hello, what is your standard velocity load for a 30-30 with 150 grain jacketed bullets? I've both Remington corelokt and Hornady RN to try in my Marlin. I've several powders, was hoping to narrow the field a little.

30calflash replied to a thread Feinwerkbau FWB300 in AirGuns
The low effort to cock the FWB 300 was a patented feature, about 1/3 the effort to do versus the competition's model's at the time. I've one with the tyrolean stock, pretty much made for offhand shooting only. All what has been said here about...

30calflash replied to a thread Auto Parts Cost Rant in Our Town
You can check prices online, helps immensely. For my 20 YO Mazda B2600 Rock auto had it way below what it could be had for from a parts store, even with a garage discount from where I work. With Rock they have various suppliers for a part and the...

I'm sure some kind of good quality tubing from an industrial supply house would work if no parts were available. The end may need to be formed to accept the end of the plunger.

I think you need to expand your search parameters a bit, if the LGS hasn't one then go to say a 500 hundred mile radius. Don't call it a search, make it a quest! Far more interesting and most people here will understand!

Lee had a wc boolit that had a small button, almost as an after thought, on the front end. It was one that would feed from a 52. My friend cast and shot his a lot in the 80's and 90's with the Lee WC.. Yes they are unforgiving if you get lax in...

The 25-2 model were made with both 6 1/2 and 6" barrels, the early ones were 6 1/2" pinned, later 6" not pinned. I'm unsure as to chamber specs on the unpinned models, they were built at the end of the 25-2 manufacturing run, prolly mid 1980's? ...

Freeland imported them decades ago, was the main importer for them at the time. Very nice rifles. In later years some model 12/15's were brought in, another very nice rifle. I got one back then, lighter barrel, with Parker Hale sights. Wish I...
