When I got my 19896 CB I got LEE 330 AND 405 gr molds to see how it would shoot. They both work fine. Started out with minimum Tro=ail Boss loads. Lots of fun with minimal recoil. Have also tried 5744 .

I believ the NRA and CR&PA convinced a bunch of judges that micro stamping still doesn't work and it is not a requirement in CA. Micro stamping doesn't effect reloading. Only the primer would be stamped, if it worked. Primers are replaced when...

Fix it so you can use it. keep the original part. If you or your heirs ever sell it give the original part to the new owner. I don't know if true collector guns ever get shot. They should be in a condition that works all the time. You are...

My latest Lab, Wendy's Vanilla Frosty, has a field trial background and is a very hyper dog. If she gets out the front door she RUNS. She has figured out how to get thawing meat out of the kitchen sink. Earlier dogs could open the refrigerator...

PAST pads work great. Years ago an older gentleman ( probably younger than me now) was on an adjacent bench was sighting in his 7mm MAG. We talked and after a while I insissted that he try my pad. He didn't want to at first but finally did. All...

I have a "Non-assalt weapon" Ar in California. Has a non-pistol grip stock. Did not want to bother with a bullet button. There are various ways to comply with California laws without registering your guns.

Opos I am 5 years behind you. Haven't been Albacore fishing in probably 30 years. Inshore waters too bad for bonito. Trout fishing in the sierras is a little too much for me. I do have gunsand I understand your problem. I probably have too many...

To report on what started this thread. Did not get either a 9.3 x63 or a Whelen. Got a 338WM in a Browning BAR. It is big enough to kill about anything I am going to hunt. Don't plan on shooting elephants of buffalo or anything that mightstomp...

Not sure how you get a rolled crimp on plastic hulls. Folded crimps that started out that way are easy to do. I have never seen factory plastic hulls with roll crimps. All my duck loads have folded crimps and are sealed to keep out water. I am...

How exact do you want your charges? 1 11/8 of fine shot takes up less volume than 1 1/8 of large shot. Not much but there is a difference. Instead of a bunch of charge bars with lots of charge bushings I would suggest getting a adjustable bar...

Some one better recheck prices. Maybe me. These are 600JR.,they sell for less than $100.00 new. Gauge changes are considerably less than $50.00. Reguardless the OP got a good deal. Would suggest that you get adjustable charge bar instead of a...

I would like to know how water in a sealed container gets "old"? The 16-20 oz bottles are great way to take water to a duck blind. Way better than drinking water that ducks poop in. One bottle usually last a season. As for government protecting...

Before you use your cast shot for waterfowl check your State regulations. Many States don't require non-toxic shot, they require State approved non-toxic shot. Your home cast shot will not meet any State or Federal requirements. If you are going...
