You can color me contrary here , but my first choice for ammunition Is ammunition that is reliably consistent , it must feed , go bang and hit where I aim it every single time . Any other considerations come after that . I won't jump into...

redneck1 replied to a thread Mazda B4000 repair? in Our Town
My little truck is a piece of rusty junk , but the brakes work good , the tires are still round and it runs like a top . The transmission in mine was a known issue when I bought it so I don't consider it a " breakdown " . And otherwise it has...

I have a 98 Mazda , the transmission went out on it a few years ago. In my driveway on Jack stands it took me about 5 hours to swap it start to finish . A good shop with a lift should be able to beat that by quite a bit. I'd hesitate to...

redneck1 replied to a thread A quick ammo box in Special Projects
I tried to finish this little project up this weekend and I ran out of hardware . Still having three more boxes to finish up I made a trip to home depot looking for some hinges and latches . Holy snarkles bat Man are they proud of their cheap...

The fact that Dillon makes great stuff isn't in question , they do . But again what chapped my hind end is the fact that they sold me a lifetime warranty and then they didn't deliver on it . Why should it matter to me in even the slightest bit...

I'm not a big fan of side meat either unless it's been baconized. I'd go with the tie it up and smoke it crowd . Another alternative for a small portion of it is to make some salt pork out of it . It's easy to do , a small crock and...

When it came to the machining , think rows and rows of various machinery . More often then not every single operation would have a dedicated machine and fixture . Something like a rifle bolt might have 10 or more machines dedicated to making...

I'm not knocking dillon here , but I got irritated many moons ago when I bought a tumbler with a lifetime warranty and paid quite a bit more then other brands to get that lifetime warranty only to find out 6-7 years later that things had changed...

You can do this without an expensive die set ... but if you insist on having dies , you won't find any cheaper then $200 for sure . Do a search on the site for both .43 Egyptian and .43 beaumont ( same cartridge ) and you'll find plenty of...

Thank you sir , a pm has been sent. For the curious , I have a build in mind along the lines of a ruger Hawkeye single shot . Nothing concrete yet , just an idea .
