I really like my little 94 , it's fun to shoot , fairly accurate and .32-20 is about as cheap as it gets to shoot . But I hate buckhorn sights and that's what it had . I also didn't much care to pay for a store bought sight . Or more...

I wanted to get some brass black , but my funds are about zero So I dunked the thing in vinager over night to try and patina it a bit . Not so happy with how it turned out , but it's better then a shiny yellow lump of brass on a 114 year old rifle

Let me know the verdict when you get a chance to dig it out and test it . Maybe think of a $ figure as well And if you think it might be of use to you in the future , give it a think and be sure you want to let it go .

Oh sure measuring the original sight height is always a good idea and helpful . But when your adding in a bit more lenght to your sight radius and morally against complicated mathematics ... a guess is what you end up with :) Really though , ...

I need a couple 8-40 screws , pan head would be prefered but I'm not picky . Anything 3/8 or longer would be fine There are plenty of places to buy them online for sure . But shipping charges don't make this a very economic purchase ....
