    Make sure it's dry inside , dump about half a pound of salt inside it . Tape it to the bowl of your vibratory tumbler , run it half an hour or so , flip it over and repeat . Dump out the salt give it a good rinse and it'll be good as new

    Set the core end down and cut into it from the top :) If you cut across the core the steaks fall apart and you end up making Cole slaw ... been there done that lol

    I have tried them with bacon , it works much better with the bacon precooked and crumbled as a topping for my tastes . The fat tends to make the bottom of the cabbage a little mushy . I prefer it to be tender but still firm
