maybe the throats are too long. I didn't let the bullets I water dropped age for a couple weeks but the bnh is in the low 20's. I have to be doing something wrong. I seat the bullets out as long as I can with out uncovering the lube groove.

Well I guess I un figured it out. I'm still getting leading. I slugged my barrel again and its right at .355 I have tried light loads that would barely cycle the action and medium loads still leads. Maybe the 2500+ isn't the right lube. I'm sizing...

I will give water dropping a try. I live in a remote part of Alaska and the gun store here doesn't have a lot of powder to choose from. I'm interested in CFE pistol. I have shot CFE 223 in my 223 rifles and had real good luck with my bullets swaged...

I did a little research and looks like it was used in 45 acp. I have a lot of unique but it doesn't meter well in my rcbs powder dump when it get down around 3-4 grains. I want a good metering powder for my 9mm and was hoping ths 230p would work.

Thank you for the posts. I loaded up 20 rounds right after work and skipped the lee factory crimp die and went out and shot ten in my P94 and ten in my FM High power no leading so that was good. I used four grains unique. It was a real mild load and...

lead chucker replied to a thread New point form die in Swaging
Thanks for the responses. I think the sizing smaller then bumping them back up would be the way to go. It takes so long to make a point forming die and that's if you get it right the first time. Maybe I will just use the old bullets for when I need...
