At this point I'm not to picky about a particular mould . I like the looks of the 45-535 SIL for my intent the ugly step sister Lee 458-500 would probably do also but I'd rather have another maker . The bullet will feed a 45-70 Marlin and a 45...

In the last week I prepped 100 380s to discover I was out of 358-88 RF . So I ran a box of 45 ACPs , good thing I'm putting the in moon clips . Only had 49 boolits . I took a bucket of assorted final cut rejects to the casting bench and "found" a...

The oversizing of the over sized Rossi chamber drove me to seek out a set of steel dies in the interim I "neck sized" all the Colts brass and when it needed a body sizing I ran it through a gutted Lee 45 ACP FCD . I have a set of steel dies now...

Wash , lube , pre-heat , pour . At least it went that easy with a brand new 458193 . The single Lyman 454424 I have has the round lube groove , it is considerably smaller than the trapezoid groove in the NOE copy . The only Lyman that has...

Being as it only shares brass with with a couple of obscure European work around the laws/drilling cartridges and unlike the deceased 25,30,32 Rem you can't just make it out of a cousin or extrude it down or swage it up , yeah it is kind of a flop ....

The 358 I had shot a 35-250 at 2100 fps inside a quarter at 100 with a case full of I4350 @2100 fps I can't imagine NEEDING much more than that although that bullet has a lousy BC it ought to be ok out to 200 yd for Roosevelt elk . If you...

I'm getting a Rossi rebarreled . Not because of any defect but because of the slow twist , well that and the gigantic chamber . I have 2 Rossi M92's . A 16" and a 20" . Both shoot fine to 75 yd with "pick a 250-265 gr bullet " . Somewhere...

Loaded some more 45 ACP with 454424 NOE copy and loaded up 10 clips with it . Ran some 380 with the 358-88 NOE . I had the big pot empty so I tossed in about $20 in pewter ware that I've been scrounging up for a yr or 2 . About 10# in neat...
