That wouldn't work out for me ...... I only have dies for 6.5 Japanese , 257 and 6.5-257 AI dies . ;) I guess I'll know for sure after the first round . It does feed the live Norma like it's supposed to . I actually have 30-30 pick up brass...

I have a new to me type 38 , it came with about 30 new factory Norma 139 gr loaded rounds . Upon looking this over and under the presumption that it's close to right it seems to me that for 7-30 Waters class loads turning rims on 30-30 and trim is...

Across the board I gained 200 fps from the 45 Colts 7.5" RBH to the 16" M92' . All book data . I used the 452-252 , 452-255 Lee , Lyman round groove and NOE version of the 454424 at 1050 fps from the revolver golf balls out to 70 yd while not a...

Have you a set of 338 Fed dies ? I don't know if that would clear the base or not , the only one I've had my hands on was a 856R . I didn't mess with it much past ID and rehoming of 10-12 cases with 1939 Nazi headstamps . Typical over sizing...

Looks like a full set of 308 swage dies to me . Should be a wire cutter , one die to swage the core into the jacket at about .304 and 1 to form the ogive and base while swaging up to 308 . There may or may not be a point forming die for...

It's about tissue disruption . I've seen deer killed with a 1"+ entry and a 25 cal exit lungs were Jello and the heart full of blood jelly . I don't know what caused the the damage , hydrostatic shock , energy exchange/dump but I know it was...

I added a Rapine 458201 to the kit , I think it was for original Colts , it casts .459-255 in my alloy . Otherwise I shoot the 458193 mostly . There is a ton of Trapdoor level data out there for about 25 different powders . I use Unique because...

5.5 Unique under the NOE version of the 454424 in a Bubba'd 1917 . Standard 45 ACP start data should get you started . The Schofield is listed in the Lyman #4 CBH .

Remember too that many of the Italian repros are exact copies of what they had for a Polish blue print . So if that guy had a last of production 1880 , gentleman's dueling set that was test fired , packed , and cased will be a somewhat different gun...

Ive tried to get down to a half dozen powders . I use the 4350 under the too slow to get hurt fast enough to avoid a SEE slow push for 18" in the core calibers , 25-32 on my bench , so it fits perfectly for PB cast in the 30 Win and 32 Rem .

The reason/reasoning ; I want a simple CF 22 LR/Mag class rifle with available ammo when I'm not around to make it anymore . I'm leaning towards a 25 ACP which if the action will handle 22 mag it'll handle that unless a guy gets crazy and puts 3...

Vintage ....... It appears that it doesn't take much to get some choke . I have a relieved 429421 that casts .448 but that might be overkill a little , it's ok in a .448 chamber for a .440 groove in C&B . You may have to look for something in...

Getting it down to a fiesty 22 mag I suspect is easy . I was kind of looking for speed bumps and pot holes but it doesn't seem like there are any in a fixed breach 30-30 , vs a lever .

Check for frame thread choke . Rough forcing cone . Crown . Sort of in that order of issue . Then it gets expensive . Timing , cyl/barrel alignment , too tight or loose cylinder lock up . I don't have one with that kind of an extremes ,...
