If you don’t like what I said, please reread your initial question and try to understand why I said what I said. You admitted you did not know the trajectory of your load, and did not know where it would hit at various ranges. To me, that is the...

No war/action is a joke, and I don’t care what anyone says. If you’re at the tip of the spear, it’s all real and serious. And “official declaration “ doesn’t mean squat. As far as I’m concerned, war is war, regardless of where, how, how long,...

You know, I’ve bled for things I thought were worth it in the past, and willing to do so again, but, um, uh, stuffing a cat down a pipe in the interest of science just doesn’t rise to that level for me. Thank you for bringing me to my senses. I’ll...

Well, a cat is a fur ball, which has potential for a gas seal... wonder what gauge that would be? And just what are the aerodynamic properties of the average house cat anyway? :)

You know, you’ve got me thinking about the gas seal. In some of my muzzleloader smoothbore loads, I’ve experimented with a couple of cards, about a 6” length of jute twine frayed into a fiber nest, and then a couple more cards. The idea is that...

Longbow, You’re going to want to choke me, but I have to admit having spent too much time shooting muzzleloaders. I use the cheap bulk pack birdshot shells that Walmart sells for around $23/100 around here for dove hunting, and save the empties. ...

Teach, that’s because you care about the welfare of the pups. Unfortunately too many don’t.

Excellent thread. I have a H&R Tracker 2 that I put into a synthetic stock trying to see how light I can make it to have a very lightweight gun that gets carried a lot but shot just a little at hogs. It ended up being just under 4 1/4 pounds, but...

Add me to the list if anyone wants to PM, or email me directly at Lonegun1894 at yahoo dot com for a phone number. I work weird hours, but will do as much as I can. Not a counselor by any means, but just a Navy Corpsman (FMF) who became a cop. ...

I got mine at what I was told was 6 weeks, but he wasnít properly developed for a 6wk old, and I found out a few days later that he was 2 1/2 weeks old when the lady told me his actual birthday. I took him knowing he was too young because I thought...

I’ve taken a few hogs w my 14” .30-30 and the 311041, but not at full power. Actually, I’d be surprised if I was getting 1400fps, and it worked just fine. Your 10” will do just fine as long as the bullet hits the right spot. I actually tend to...

You know, it’s nice to have the option, but I won’t be buying the 9mm SP101 because I enjoy the same gun in .357 too much and carry it ever day. For 9mm, I have a couple bottom feeders and a TC Contender. To me, the 9mm is an excellent target...

I for one happen to like that they went with 1:30” ROT. Makes for an excellent twist with my favorite, the Lyman 358156 (and similar), that doesn’t lead up the bore. I use 15.0grs of 2400 for hunting loads.

This kind of attitude bothers me. Please donít shoot past where you KNOW where your impact will be. Have some respect for the game youíre hunting and please donít risk wounding anything.

Could you please remove me from this GB? Both the friends that these were going to go to just bought the NOE version because I refused to sell them mine.
