I have a couple batches 30-30 im working with. Both have around 6 or 7 loadings on it. I've never annealed any of it, nor have I lost any to necks cracking yet. Most of the loadings were full power loads, some with jacketed projectiles, but...

I must concur. I have a pair of the black ones, and when its like 20 degrees here, you can hunt all day, walk in snow or whatever and your feet never get cold. I got them for 5 bucks at a yardsale, but you can commonly get them for around 50...

In my opinion they are about the same. For my swaged lead bullets both 1/2 and ones with a check I use my homemade dip lube and see no difference.

Depending on thickness, most any course slower cutting saw will do. Be sure to use a drop cloth to contain and collect the chips.

That is pretty neat. 357magnum or 38 special with large primer pockets would be real neat to come across. I have a few 38s, dont got no 357s in my collection yet.

Yes, I still believe in common sense reloading. I don't load my 400 Corbon anywhere close to its full potential either for the same reason. Shooting the 400 Corbon with 155gr SWC with light loads in a full size 1911 literally pops the brass down...

and the 9x23 brass has a very thick web at the base which helps since my older 38 Super barrel has the older feed ramp and link pin design which leaves a good piece of the cartridge base unsupported unlike the modern ramped barrels.
