Perhaps a Jugged Chamber caused by over torqueing of a poorly prefitted barrel. Do the shoulders look rounded ? Sometimes over torqueing caused stress lines in the chamber area which resulted in bulging of chambers past the receiver ring. This was...

IIRC the only airgun suppressors that are not legal everywhere are the detachable metal tube ones over. Those might be removed and adapted to a firearm. The synthetic tubed versions aren't strong enough to withstand fire arms muzzle blast, or so...

Been meaning to reply to this but kept putting it off expecting there would be some posts by others. Anyway I remember seeing one of these years ago. It looked very old when I saw it many years ago so it might have been an earlier incarnation. The...

I've reloaded thousands of rounds with a Lee Loader, but the best hand reloading outfit out there is the Lyman 310. Bench Rest shooters used to use the 310 for seating primers because it was so precise compared to bench mounted outfits. I had a...

I've been out of Balistol for awhile and figure most other solvents would eat up seals so I've been soaking the Q-tips in lighter fluid instead. If anything it works better. PS The cut down Q-Tips are fairly stable in flight and if the air or...

Commercial sporting .303 cartridge case rims are within specs. Many Military .303 case rims are out of spec by being too thick. Military rifles often have headspace on the loose end of maximum allowable headspace. Older British .303 sporting...

Had the same problem with light loads behind a standard 158 gr bullet in a Colt .38 Special. Later when using an even lighter load behind a round ball a S&W Airweight functioned with no drag at all. I suspect the very light RB load didn't build...

Sounds like the striker isn't hitting hard enough to open the valve. My SSP 250 has a similar striker and when left too long in the sun the pressure of the gas is too high for the valve to open. In your situation I expect that when first charged...
