I survived all the bad habits and unknown dangers of the 40s, 50s and 60s without any ill effects, that are traceable. Either I was tough, or lucky. I carried mercury in my pockets, cast lead soldiers, ate peanuts, road bicycles without a...

Just like with presses and lube sizers, I have enough and then some. You never know when you'll do something foolish or one will break. Over the years I've collected bargains.

I am an older item to some, and I do use some antique tools in reloading. I have also retired some in favor of newer more robust machinery. That said, I also occasionally shoot an Eli Whitney revolver in 32 rimfire. Does that qualify?

Using a loud sounding device may make you feel like you've accomplished something, but the transmitted volume is restricyed. Although louder than normal voice, speach is distorted and the volume is reduced in order to protect the equipment. Best...

When they call and say the call may be recorded, I stop them right there, and tell them they don't have my permission to record me. They have no idea how to respond, and hang up.

Harter 66 I know what you intended, but your statement of dropping "half way to just like the factory" could be dangerous to a new caster/ reloader. Nothing less than a complete "PLUNK" is aviseable to a new loader.

This thread does give me reason to consider consolidation, but I've looked at the same face in the mirror every morning, sat at the same table with the same wife , drove a new 73 Suburban for 30 years and the current 03 Dodge ever since. What fun...

Yep. If ya smack your finger with a framing hammer, you'll quickly realize why it's called waffle faced.

I took a UPS box down to the cave and turned out the lights I had left on. I had tripped yesterday and bruse my back sides and forearm. The trip down to the cave with the heavy box was enough. Got to have a reason to try again tomorrow. If it...

BTW my parents made it to their 65th Aniversary before Dad passed. Mom made it 13 more years without him. She had diabetes and MS for over 40 years in a wheelchair, and finally surcomed to undiagnosed cancer at 92. They both had close...

Being from Montana, I can say that every wolf you can kill, in any way, is appreciated. RMEF helped bring the damned things back into the state, and they have not seen a cent from me since. We've lost thousands of elk, deer, and moose to them, not...

I don't work 3rd or any shift anymore, but get just as irritated with calls that interrupt my time and space trying to sell something I don't want. I don't have a phone next to me everywhere and being handicapped, it's more than a hassel to get to...

FMJs can squirt a stream for over a foot, that is so fine, you won't notice till it hits your skin. I just smack them with a waffle faced hammer while drying on the drive. Since finding a live 22 round in the range scrap melt, I tumble wash it in...

Making good choices makes it easier, but it's what you make of it. Congrats to all the long timers and those on their way. At 22 I had no idea what lay ahead, but 54 years later I realize it was meant to be.

Buy the company, keep me employed. I'm crippled up enough, I have no idea how I'm going to make a living. Can only be on my feet two hours at the most before the pain gets too bad.
