Yep. It works just fine. The .45 ACP isn't a big case, small primers work fine.

I never have gotten this one to be very reliable and got side tracked on it, it's sitting waiting for me to either get back to it or get rid of it. I may have to check that 6 o'clock part of the chamber and see. I have pretty much decided to...

We have one that does that now quite frequently. We keep a big, deep bowl for the dog and this cat will put both feet in all the way to the bottom.

I built an Ar15 16" upper in 30 Herrett Rimless...Does that count? ;) 6.8 SPC case trimmed back and reformed with a 30 Herrett sizing die.

How difficult is it to form those cases? Is .414 brass commonly available?

I am going to be trying cast in the 6.5 Creedmoor eventually. I still have molds and quite a few cast bullets from a 6.5 Swede that I couldn't get rid of fast enough. The Ruger American I got has been very accurate with jacketed without even...

Mine is set up with the side mount. I put a small 4x Burris on it. Love that combination for squirrel hunting using cast bullets.

I want one. I have a 1907 and load cast in it, killed two deer with cast in it a few years ago. Seems like just about any .41 magnum cast bullet would work. I've heard brass can be formed from 7.62x39 brass.

Nah, I think he's spot on. I "watched" it on my Ebay feed and almost as soon as I did I start getting messages saying to make an offer. Might just make some real low ball offer and see what happens, but that thing is never gonna bring $650. ...

I have to say, that was an unusually good evening for me. I do seem to do better when I'm the only one shooting, I had the range to myself. I like that little side by side, more than I really should, I suppose, but it's a cool old gun and I wanted...

I just took out that old Ithaca trap gun my Dad gave me, sure is pretty. Too pretty. No safety, makes sense for a target gun like that, I suppose. I will likely take t out and see how it shoots a few times, but I think I really do want to get...

For several years here, the toads which used to be common have been rare. I'd heard there was a world wide fungal skin disease that was killing off amphibian populations everywhere. This year, I've been seeing a lot of them and tree frogs too. ...

I'll have to get it out and take some. I posted some when I got it, it was rusted and I cleaned it up and got everything moving, but that's about it. I stoll haven't loaded any ammo on it yet. Whoever had it had fabricated a new piece where the...

Copy of the old Dunbars. I have one, found in a junk box, rusted to where it was frozen but didn't take much to clean it up and make it work. I haven't done anything else to it, so still original paint, etc. It's the only one I've seen before...

I really don't need another press. I have a Forster Co-ax I have yet to set up, but the simplicity and strength of these ones looks intriguing and it also looks simpler to adapt to from "normal" single stage presses than the Forster would be. ...

If you're getting lead fouling at .30-30 levels, you clearly don't know what your doing with cast. Read up some more, lots of subject matter experts on here. As has been said, the .308 is almost ridiculously easy to make into a ballistic twin of...

After deer season, I'll begin the endeavor of cast in the 6.5 Creedmoor. My son's .260 may get some too. After a 6.5 Swede that didn't work out and went down the road, I have quite a few various 6.5 cast bullets around to try out. Looks like...
