And I'm glad he did. No problems killing deer with a weapon, but not that way. I did make a pretty concerted search for him or any blood, antler pieces in the road, nothing. Figured it was the right thing to do, and if we had killed it, I'd have...

We've lived in rural northern Kansas for about 24 years now and hadn't had a collision with a deer yet until just now. Wife and I were out driving down old Highway 40 and darned if that buck didn't run slap into the side of the car. She saw it...

We only have fox squirrels here. Where I grew up in S.C., we only had grays. Never noticed one as harder to skin than the other, but my observation is that fox squirrels take a lot less killing. Was always impressed by the grays will to live, saw...

Can you give some more details about the course of fire? Open to any class of air rifle? Scopes or no? Something I might like to try, though I'm a few hours away.

I have zero experience with pronghorns, however, I'm betting there are guys out there who consistently kill them every year with archery equipment. It can be done.

Wow, don't have that problem here with white tails, plenty to go around. A pronghorn with cast would be a worthy goal. I think you should start preparing for it.

Great going! I had no doubts your load would work. Except for the occasional arrow, I haven't killed a deer with a jacketed bullet since 2009 and I average two a year. They work. Anybody can do it with a jacketed bullet, but the truth is, it's...

Yup. New gun or total replace. Maybe better off with a total refund and move on. How exciting, bet you can't wait to see how they will handle the next "FIX" you might have down the road. lol

Yes, I think they do have a nice carbine there. Now if they only would make one chambered in 45 Colt I'd be getting one.

The .358 is a good one, have used it with cast on deer myself, but you don't really need bullets that big to deer hunt effectively. The .30s and .32 I've used worked great. Was a little apprehensive about one this small, but if I haven't tagged...

It's a good bullet for what I've done with it. I'd be curious to see how it works on game, I kind of figured it was too light, but after seeing how well this bulle that was only 30 grains heavier penetrated, the soup can might work fine.

PPU brass is available and reasonable. Get a set of dies and it reloads just like any thing else. It's better than the .30-30 in that it can use spritzer type bullets if you like. Don't let the nay sayers tell you wrong, it's as easy to have ammo...
