I will pile on... I had one and that was Paul Jones' personal machine (named Roscoe) and I regret selling it. Just a neat old machine. But it sat idle after I got my first Dillon 1050. The Dillon was faster.

My favorite pistols are a pair of Colt SSA's in .357. Great guns. I shot them in CAS and shoot them for fun now. I do not enjoy picking up brass, and I will build a brass catcher trap for when I shoot those plastic guns I carry. I have my own...

Cast is high volume as I do not hunt with cast and they are all pistol caliber bullets used for plinking and practice. Reloading can vary from 40 hunting rounds to over 2000 shotgun shells at a time. My max was 4000 12 ga in one session. Pistol...

dverna replied to a thread Do you ever in Hunting with CB's
Nope, I have caliber specific guns for what I hunt. My deer gun is a.308 and it will be used for bear when I get a permit. If I draw an elk permit, it will be the .300 Mag. Varmints get the .223. I do so little hunting that working up hunting...

The Rokon seems expensive but neat. I would think about a used UTV for about the same investment. It would be safer and more versatile but need a trailer to haul it. BTW recently I sold both my UTV's and got a used Jeep Wrangle 2 DR. It will...

I had some 35 year old .38 WC loads lubed with 50/50. Many failed to fire. I would be more concerned with traditional lubes causing an issue over time than PC. BTW, I still do not PC so I am not a fan of the it is slower and I would...

If I could shoot lube free bullets I would. I like the concept of PC bullets but I like the speed of using a Star a lot more, so I live with a bit of smoke. Big Deal! As to "dirty" powder, I don't see many issues with what I shoot. Anyway,...

I struggle with things like this. It is too easy to rationalize and try to make things "fit". God cannot know all things and how things will happen and then be guilty of "changing his mind". The more plausible answer is that God is not...

I must be weird as I see two extremes quite a bit. Many think they need a 7mm Mag for deer and the opposite....even a .22 will kill a moose if you can place the shot. One of my neighbors wants to hunt elk with his .243 and has been told by a...

I use both. ANY load someone posts is ALWAYS checked against manufacturers data. Some loads I never verify before a loading session. 2.8 gr of HP for the .38, 42 gr of Varget with the 165 GameKing in the hunting .308, 17 gr of Promo in the 12...

I fear ridicule, so refrain from mentioning God to people I do not know well. And I know that is wrong and not what a Christian should do.

Good news. I found a well rated firm that charges $200/hr and they estimate the cost will be closer to $1000 than $2000. They have a prenuptial specialist. Timing is less than two months and totally dependent on how quickly we can pull together...

You do not sound like you will be shooting many cast bullets. For lube, you can pan lube or even finger lube if doing a few dozen at a time. (Cannot see shooting many more than ten at a sitting with that thing) The Lee sizer is cheap. Gas...
