Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has the Thompson Compass in .308 for $275 with free shipping. Ordered two...one for me and one for my son. After the $75 rebate, and FFL transfer, the cost to my door will be $212.50 each. From the reviews, they...

Sounds like a great time! Are you required to use a shotgun or is that your weapon of choice? Never hunted pigs but it looks like an AR in .300 BO woukd be a good choice from your story.

The only metallic progressives presses I would own are Star and Dillon....but this new Lee product looks very promising. I am thinking of buying one and using it as a dedicated .223 machine for jacketed bullets.

Thank you gentlemen for sharing your perspectives. It is said that God does not test us. I trust that is true. He loves us as a father, guides us, and helps us. I do not believe He would want us to die, or aid in the murder of another, to...

Sights are a very personal thing. With my eyes, on a gun like that, a large diameter peep sight is what I would try if I had to go with iron sights. If it were mine, it would wear a low power scope Good job getting tge gun back into service!

Be careful what you wish for..... I can envision some shooting that can become boring and tedious. But congratulations on having a job and one you think you will enjoy!

I tried that. I have owned 5 of their presses and never asked for help before buying the used one. Counted on the no BS warranty. I was shocked but I can fix it myself. I will soon be getting another 1050 so I am still a customer. The 1050...

First thing to do is seal that baby up. Every gap that wiring and piping is routed through needs to be sealed from mice and creepy crawlies. I had a 43 ft toy hauler 5th wheel and it was a pain. We are now looking at converting a cargo...

I am leaning towards a Tikka. The Kimbers have had mixed reviews that give me pause. I am a sucker for a pretty gun that will shoot. I looked at the Ruger No 1 but the only new ones in .308 are anniversary editions that do not move me....

First press I loaded on was a Star with a Brewster indexer. First press I owned was a Co-Ax that I still use. I have owned over a dozen presses and that Co-Ax will always be with me.

I would be happy with a 2MOA cast bullet group so maybe it shows how inept I am as a cast bullet maker. But it would bother me to have two shots that far out of the group. The cold barrel shot would be discounted if it was repeatable and/or the...

The reason I got the 9mm Mak FCD was to run all my range pick up 9mm Luger brass through instead of checking each case. I have 6000 cases to process. Haven’t started yet as I have over 2000 good cases still
