Not a firearm misplaced but some extra components. I built a switch barrel 1911 in 45ACP and 400 Corbon (both government model slide setups) a few years back and recently added a Combat Commander 45ACP bull and barrel and slide to the setup for my...

I'm dealing with this very issue with a new AR10 upper in 6.5 creedmoor. My other reloads for my Mauser 98 chambered in that same caliber has no problem loading the cartridges but the new rifle is a no-go with the older reloads while new cartridges...

Post #5, post #20.......+1!!! Since our Canadian CIL excellent quality brass is no more, replaced by questionable IVI, PPU has become a faithful equivalent. My only gripe with it so far is that those cartridges based on the .308/.30-06 head/rim size...

Many years ago, I left my Camaro at my sister's house for an extended period of time and told her she could use it. The paint was orange peeled and she had it repainted the same color. I didn't notice that when I hopped in and went to the mall. I...

discount the varied lengths of the cases, I was eyeballing the trim back to 57mm with a 22-250Rem Lee Pilot (I have a custom-length Lee .22-57mm pilot coming soon) but the key takeaway from the image is the scoring of the necks by the RCBS seating...

Hornady isn't making A-Maxs anymore so they soon will go the way of the Herter's Wasp-Waisted Bullets...You might want to develop a load with a different bullet soon. That said, I loved their 6.5mm 100gr A-Maxs and I am not a fan of their new ELD...

I'll upload a photo tonight of the impact that the reloading dies have on the reformed 7x57 brass. Accuracy was horrendous past 25 yards with cast bullets as I think I was sizing them down during the seating process.

Let me know whenever you tire of the experiment with this cartridge as I've been looking for a 38-45 Clerke 1911 barrel for a long time also. CH-4D does have dies if you can't find any local.

Trying to decide between inside or outside neck reaming for a 22-6mm Remington wildcat I built this summer. To form the brass, I'm going to need to ream the brass necks of my x57mm length cartridge cases to fit the RCBS Wildcat 22-6mm Remington...

Chile verde? No, the refritos go on the side. Red Chile? As a stand alone dish, definitely needs beans. We made chili in our restaurant without tomatoes. That seemed normal to me, but when I discovered what a little tomato did with cumin and...

I bought a PSA Gen 1 Lower receiver and Gen 2 Upper receiver last year when they were on sale and then proceeded to build it as a 308 Win first before changing the 20" barrel out when a 20" 6.5 Creedmore barrel came available (I love 6.5 caliber...

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."
