    about $300. about $1500 if it was not messed up. it does have a 2/3 mag. with octagon barrel which is a desirable combination.

    2-6 was one year after my stroke. went to a muzzleloader match on 2-10. out of 8 targets won first on 2 and a 4 and 5 on the other 2. even got a perfect score pin.

    t-c uses a shallow rifling for them .008 is deep. my gpr is .012 so I use a .018 patch. no I am not saying you are compressing lead just the patch. but then if you have been shooting round ball at all you would know that.

    it has been so long since I started it is now second nature. but one don't think you need to load powder with a shovel. for a starting load I use the caliber. example a .45 cal. use 45 grs. powder. you have to load the same way every time. for patch...

    Wells Fargo is really up on the card more then oncei have got a call from them asking if I have made a charge some place. I say no they say your new card well be there in 3 days.

    I have been using that load for years never had a problem. back when police used wheel guns most had ,357 guns but the city would not let them use mag loads. we got around that by using that load in .38 cases. I loaded for three different town...

    I cast bullets can full at a time then size and lube as I need them some are in the cans for 5 years or more. some get lubed as soon as I can handle them with bare hands.

    I loaded 358429 to about 1000 fps for police use back in the bay. not much will just stand there when slapped with that 180 gr. bullet at that speed.

    years ago it was done in the theory that it relieved pressure and let the cap flash get to the powder. never did see if it did any good.

    I agree false muzzle. the thing sticking up is a blinder. it blocks the sights so you don't shoot the false muzzle down range. there should be signs of pins on the one end of the muzzle.

    I have one of the cast iron plates used it for awhile then at a auction I got a granite plate it sets on the cast plate. I also have a small granite plate I had in my box at work. maybe the wife will use it for a head stone.
