    I have shot in matches since 1984. almost every weekend average of 60 shots a match. have never seen a fire started. the only time we had a fire problem was when a friend and I shot up a case of .303 tracers.

    before doing anything clean that bore real good. I picked up a 92 rifle in .32-20 one time cheap because it had no bore left. I got it it home and started cleaning. yep it was leaded up.

    there for awhile every 94 I picked up was a .32 spl. I have 6 rifles and carbines all .32. so to beat the hard to get problem like the .25-35 .32-40 and .38-55. I am picking up .32 brass while it is cheap.

    I don't think you know what you are talking about. you have to look at the cap and ball pistols and then go figure it out. but at no time is the hammer over a live primer except when the gun is cocked to fire.

    my first single action was a ruger Blackhawk .357 4 5/8 barrel. got it used in 71 still have it. it has been used on every thing from deer to water skippers. carried it a lot on the tractor mowing fields. I owned it for 6 years before I fired a mag....

    when you do it to sell it is reloading for your self it is hand loading. or I reload my rifle with hand loads to shoot another target. or muzzle loading the first shot is a hand load after that it is reloading.
