Timely resurrection, Im in the process of buildinv one right now. Using a treadmill motor with "dimmer" and bridge diode for variable speed. Phyzical design very like Von Gruff's project. My drive wheel is turned from alum and bored for the motor...

Im a constant dumpster diver, picked out Win HS 410 and Fio 16ga hulls friday. That said, I wont even hold on to one of those winchesters you are asking about. Another vote for gun clubs in 12 and 20, i wont bend over to pick up a new AA in those...

Watching with interest here. I have yet to recover a cast hunting bullet from game, and Ive been using them exclusively for 18 years and off and on since mid 70s. I did recover 1 50cal swaged rb about 20 years ago, it was the size of a half dollar....

Gotta pay more attention, was thinking rem 157, the 109 is pretty much a cheaper 209. Chemically the same as 209 and we used them interchangably with 209.

See below, gotta read closer. The Rem 157 was much smaller, the 109 should be ok in Rem gun clubs of current manufacture.

Very nice rifles, basically a 94 with pistol vrip stock and lever. The short mag "deer rifle" is on my list. I had a "short rifle" but it didnt call to me, so sold it to fund a Blaser shotgun for my son. He might be still shooting the Browning if my...

Crash, probably a silly question from a county boy, but why intentionally miss the critter. When I am walking, if I see a coyote I AM going to do my best to kill it! But then I live on a farm in the country, your situation is obviously different....

Another vote for the 311041, hp would be nice but not strictly required. I like the rd 311165 but it is a bit tubby in the throat for my late 50s 94. Shoots fine but is seated below the crimp groove to camber easily. Ypur later gun could easily be...
