Browning SA22, OR A Cricket youth rifle. I wouldn't bother with a scope, no leaves during deer season and opens work fine to 25 , at least for me. A micro red dot might be interesting, but irons always hold zero, and dont need batteries. A Charger...

Nice rifle, they truly dont make them like that anymore! I have a 67 and 67a myself, both get shot regularly. The 67a looks new, like yours, but has the early finger groove stock. I suspect it was a cleanup rifle from 63 timeframe. They shoot like a...

Reamed primer pockets on ~300 more 9mm brass. I have no idea why I continue processing 9mm brass. I don't shoot it all that much. I probably have 1500 ready to load, and about 700 loaded. Add that to probably 2000 more pieces untouched. Maybe...

Good points, DP. I generally engage the safety when unloading my newer Marlins. Seems 336 prices are a regional thing, a gun that would go for $600+ around here will gather dust asking $350 in other places. Don't worry about the wood, Marlin hasn't...

Good! I have no need for another Marlin but I wouldn't have walked away from it once I saw it. All my Marlins (except for a VERY old 1894 takedown) have crossbolt safeties. Never had a problem with them.

Interesting comments and our different perspectives. I see the NO1 as perfect for the 3030 or maybe 7.62x51R , but then I'm hung up on wanting it blued. Sounds like an awesome c asthma rifle anyhow! Glad they're keeping the rifle active.

Looks promising, those 760s will shoot! Easy to pull one, triggers aren't the best, try 3 more 5 shot groups with the red dot and 310 dia! I've a nice mauser that I think ill give that a try in, seems a familar load , 13 gr red dot,, yep.

My experience with hunting level loads and the 30-30. Is that typical 30-30 rifle powders are easiest to get accurate cast loads. 30-31, rl7,4895, aa2230, and 4064 have worked well fo me.

Cross pin holds the extractor in using the notch as seen at post 2. Roller actuator operates on the end, pushing the extractor out to lift the casing. Breach face pushes it back in as the action is closed. Nice simple mechanism. That is how the...

I think this boolit requires more testing. Flatten about a dozen more hogs like that first one and we'll have more data to analyze. :bigsmyl2: Good job! I like the video.

I will post a picture when I get home, I cant remember, but I don't think so. Think there is a roll pin retainer and the roller actuator. Was just thinking the Yildiz concept might help you figure out what your missing parts may look like.

On the Yildiz ( sorta copy) the extractor is operated by a roller pin that rides sholders on the frame as its opened. Think wheels on each side of the barrel lug mounted to an axle that moves the extractor in a slot.
