I like those grips! I also have a M31-1, it's a 4 inch and seems to be zeroed at 25. Picked up a 3 inch Rossi 69 (j frame clone) to keep it company. They make great woods walking guns, plenty of power for pinecones and accurate enough to be fun. I...

It's about the learning experience, I wish more people approached it that way. Example, there is a very nice, inexpensive folding 410, it is locked by a simple pivoting block operated by a "trigger"shaped lever in front of the trigger guard. Fellow...

I expect any any small caliber, hi velocity bullet will expand and stop in it. I have put holes thru railroad tie plates with a 22-250, but steel is non yielding. 30-06 ball would not go thru them! Will also stop all typical pistols. 30-06ap, yep...

I suspect you hit farther forward than you thought, or she was at more of a quartering angle that it seemed. 405gr at 30:1 would go all the way thru both shoulders, even at pistol velocity. Most likely was more angle than appearing and turned in to...

8mmfan, I and probably many others answered the literal question. I will elaborate a bit as it seems you may actually want to standardize on 1 powder. I load many more pounds of powder in upland and target shot shells than rifle or pistol. When I...

SR4756 is very bulky and in burning rate is similar to Unique.....I use this with 185 grain JHP's in my .45 ACP...Should make a good load in the Colt and minimize the chance of a double charge if you look into each case after charging..

Does the G2 have a firing pin selector, never held one? Funny story on the early style rim/center selector, you gotta remember to put it back to center fire for a 357herrett before dropping the hammer on a good buck! I was half way back to the house...

Unique for me as well. Can feed my shotguns,12,16,20,28 with book loads and 410 ultra lights. All my pistols and most rifle calibers I presently have any interest in, that includes putting vension on the table. 20-28 and universal could sub if I...

Simple answer, they don't think they will sell. They are probably right. There is the 358Win, great round and it dosen't sell either. Maybe if they renamed it 9mm Rhinoceros or 9x51Tatacal they would sell. Sadly neither the 35Rem or 358Win have the...

Speaking for myself, I am more concerned about failure modes than expansion. If you have a vice, place a bullet between the jaws tip to base. Now crank the handle and see what the bullet does. I want to see it squished like bubble gum rather than...

That would be your call, depends a lot on what you like to do. Personally speaking, they are too bulky for anything I want one for. I have 2 contenders, for over 30 years, I had an Encore for 6 months. If you are staying with the calibers you stated...

My choice was 7.62x39. I had always wanted a 30Herrett rifle for many of the efficiency reasons you stated. For me, I like single shots so a Ruger NO1 scratched my itch. For someone who wants a bolt, gonna be hard to beat a CZ547. For me, part of...

I would file a flat of about .2" or 5 mm depending on your measuring system. Won't make any siginifigant change to accuracy or poi, WILL make a big difference in killing effect. Place it well and it will kill!

simple answer, no probably not. No one in the industry seems to know or care what good open sights look like or how they should work. And, that goes back decades! Now CZ 527, at least my hornetand, some Ruger NO1s come with functional open sights....
