I use a white "+ sign" created by the white gaps between 4 large black squares. The gaps between the black squares allow a white border arround the crosshairs in use. Sighting is by maintaining the white gap around the crosshairs. Same principal as...

Ok, that story made my day ! I can see the look on their faces !!! No need to waste the meat.... Mine is presently a 7615, easy to load and unload, finish wear no issue and it serves to end coyote issues and any unplanned hunting opportunity. We...

Push down the end of the follower and "roll" it out with the spring. Pay attention to the orientation of the spring to follower, it matters. That's from memory, unreliable at times... but I will pick one up when I get home and verify.

Agreed. Last time I was in there I was trying to find a couple of the 15 or so boxes of 45ACP reloads that I think are in there. Found some cool stuff while I was looking, tho. ;-)

Loading room? I have a loading room? When I get some time I'll have to ask Siri where it is. I'm figuring out she's a pretty sharp gal!

Neither, unless you like hunting down expensive brass. I load and cast for both, have hunted and taken game with both. Both excellent cartridges but there are other cartridges that do the job just as well with less fuss...but in the interests of...

I bought one to press rivets for knife handles awhile back. As I understand it's a basic tool with dozens of uses.

I miss my cats...but my aim is improving. ;-) My last few have been "feral conversions" but don't last long with the coyotes and dogs around here. They were all excellent mousers, wish I had one now with winter coming on. I have one that passes...

Can't imagine not living in Texas but I suspect I could get by in TN. I was born in Oak Ridge, or so I've been told. ;-) I think we're going to have another Amazon fulfillment center nearby and plenty of other growth going on as well. Texas isn't...

Good shootin , and good eats! I agree on the processing, I've done my own for almost we years. Wife won't eat it due to a processor screw up when she was pregnant with my daughter, still can't get past it after all these years. I like my ground deer...

I have and hunt with both, but the 35 is a Rem 141. I like my 375 BB94 for its light weight and handyness. My 141 is scoped and weighs 2 lbs more. Both rounds are sure killers and for my use the brass is equally available. I load the 375 with 3855...

I use the Windex formula that contains vinegar and cut it at least 50%. For my purposes works better than full strength.

I agree to a point. It's amazing how many Democrats are gun owners that disapprove of their party's national anti-gun platform. I don't think rank and file Dems are actually anti-gun, they just make poor choices when choosing their leaders. Their...

Sectional density , higher it is better the penetration, other factors being comparable. As I've stated, I like the 327 and feel it can kill a deer. That said comparing a heavy for caliber 327 to a lightweight 357 is cooking the books. 100. In 327...

I agree 100% math and numbers don't kill deer! Need enough projectile mass and enough power to go all the way thru. At that point its all about WHAT it goes thru. Got to be a critical organ, at that point the deer is "dead" question is how long does...

Question on the 9mm , for the modern day , same function, what about using 357max brass? Is the length in the "close" realm? Thinking a Yi ldiz folder extra barrel . You've got me interested and the little Yildiz is 3.3 lbs and nicely finished.

A single gun that is well suited to deer hunting, self-defense, squirrel hunting and target work is going to be defined by the cartridge that can fill all of those needs. " A SW 696 comes closest in my mind, but I need the squirrels kind close....
