That is about the going price for a decent one around mid Tennessee, that is when you see one. If you like it and have the cash, then go for it. I rarely see one in person. When I do I think , man I should get me one. Then I pick it up and go, wow...

rking22 replied to a thread I have the GAMO MAGNUM .22 in AirGuns
I shot the S300 with premiers doing right at 800fps at 100 yards one very quiet morning. I have picture of the target somewhere, was foot and a half low at least. Group was decent, 3 inches or so for 5, but I could see the pellets in flight. The sun...

In the realm of hunting type air guns I Presently have an R9, Theoben Classic, and an RWS48 springers. Theres an Air Arms S300 single shot that I retuned and put a 5mm barrel on. A Daystate and Falcon 177 calibers too. The Daystate was the rifle...

Being an engineer, I do not accept as “fact” things that do not cite reference data supporting said “thing”. I have been happily shooting a 696 with Skeeter loads since the year it came out, mine is no dash. I read that article in 03, went humm well...

I have no experience with either of those pellets, but found that the domed pellets were best for me. Seemed the flat nosed ones opened their groups at distance in a non linker manner. Only real failure I have had was a big fox squirrel at about 20...

I just searched, glad I payed in a stash of the old 1250 cnt cardboard box Premiers. They carried the die number and when you got the one that shot the best you knew what die and lot you wanted and I bought a lifetime supply. Need to get me some JSB...

Are Crosman Premiers gone from the market? They always shot best in my Theoben Classic. It’s a gas ram design and is brutal to thin skirted pellets. Crow magnums were pitiful, an inch plus at 20 yards with some showing canting. Premiers are one hole...

Sorry, they can call it anything they want but a Python it ain’t. It is missing the Deep blue on carefully polished steel. To me Pythons were like the “pretty girl” in high school, all about the look. And this one looks like a cheap knockoff. ...

For everyone who says burn it, Wayne Mayes might very well still be alive if he had not decided to burn some powder! If you just HAVE to dispose of it, just throw it over the yard but don’t burn it. If you don’t want it, I’ll take it. Worst case...

Have become moderately interested in a Rughe American in 35L. So I go to their website and find that I can only get that caliber with an AR mag. I hate magazines that are not flish on my hunting rifles. So I would like to read that Ruger has decided...

900$ !!! Nuts, and I have a couple 760s. You can get you 2 nice 141s in 35 Rem for that cash, and have better rifles.

The car jack based ones are big time overkill, if you have a bar clamp out in the shop it will do fine. When I saw you had removed the first stage I thought it would be prudent to warn about the bear trap. Some trigger systems use the first stage to...

Be very careful about trigger adjustments on springers, especially barrel cockers. They can remove a finger when loading if the sear slips and you are not fully controlling the barrel. I know nothing about the design on your gun, just a caution....

You need a spring compressor. I have done many of them using an appropriate barclamp. Take the barrel off and cut a hardwood block to fit in the yoke. Get the end cap, spring and action between the jaws and tighten the clamp to draw everything...

I have a 45 Colt Win Low Wall trad hunter. The fired brass will let a .460 bullet drop right in! The chamber is huge in dia. I suspect your chamber is like mine, see what the id of the fired case mouth is. I neck size my brass with an odd die and...
