Dimensions on a choke really don’t mean much, what counts is how it patterns. If you broke 20/25 on 16 yard trap then that 410 is not “broken” leave the choke alone you will not improve it!

Looks interesting, and wonderful that she wanted the challenge! She will do quite well in life. You know you really should mount the crony for her, after all it was her first! Could have a presentation ceremony and everything:)

Yes, you will need a tool to compress and hold the mainspring cap while you disconnect. Then allow a controlled retract to let the pressure off the spring. I would replace the spring as well as the seal. I have used a bar clamp for the task. See if...

Probably a failed piston seal. It seems to be bouncing because there is no cushion from the compressed air behind the pellet.

Here is my Classic carbine, it’s 5 mm. Theoben pioneered the gas spring, mine has not leaked in all these years. I bought it to shoot while my newborn daughter was napping, she is 27 now! Beautiful guns, blueing looks like a Colt Python and an oil...

Flipping out slingshots was the one I was thinking about, Simpleshot no longer sells them but they have a farcebook page. Don’t know if they still sell, I don’t have Facebook account.

I tell folk that want to hunt with their spring guns that they need to sight them in and practice with them, from the same position they will use hunting. All recoiling airguns are “hold sensitive”, they will generally recoil away from the hold. The...

Nice rifle, never had a bull pup myself. I made the same type choice as you, my first air rifle was a Theoben Classic, figure I have enjoyed it enough to justify the expense. Nothing in our modern , throw away, world to campare to a finely built air...

Same here, just love J Frames! 2 inch M36 for carry, and I found a 36-6, 3 inch adjustable sights for woods and water fun! The 4 inch M31 is nice and Rossi gave us a couple clones(22lr 4 inch and a 3 inch 32swl) that are good shooters. That 3 inch...

Harter66, what was the alloy used? I have a nice Sako L46 in 222, with a 1 in16, bet it will shoot that load as well. Shoots the old 19.5 4198 and a 50 like it thinks it's a bench gun, but I want a cast load. Just gotta get rountuit, kinda back...

Try resizing the image smaller file size. That was my issue, no fault indicated just didn’t work. Just like the blasted machines at work.

I find the mild, 12 fp, airguns enjoyable. I am glad I don’t have to worry I might wind up outside the law just because I wound up shooting one light pellets, but I find them highly enjoyable. I did the MORE power thing, found the guns big, heavy,...

Ok, I must have missed the walnut when I went looking to the website. All I found was black plastic, which doesn’t float my boat. On the other hand, walnut gets my attention! Can you post a picture of your rifle, would love to see it.

You wouldn’t have trouble yelling a 222 from a 223, 222 has a notably longer neck. I can tell without bending over, I won’t bend over for a 223 case. If you want to shoot bullets heavier than 55 gr the modern crop of 223s will do it better, lots...

The 35 is a killer with the 220 gr bullets, even at a piddling 1850. Bet you could see thru the hole thru that hog! Nice shooting.
