Yes, I have to agree, and I dont like plastic! I load my sp101 in 327 with a 311008 @ 1000fps. Plenty (and then some) for ground hogs and the like. I just dont see the 327 as a good deer gun , so I feel no need to run it at the top. Truth is I would...

Correct, the 12 will pattern more evenly than the 20 in general. With the 7/8 load the 20 is great, I much prefer the 12 for 1 1/8 and up. Now for 1 oz, ill take a 16 , but the 20 can come close. Also you can drive the larger payloads faster in...

Will they hold an edge, yep ! Skinned my deer jointed and boned it out then whipped it off and sliced my baloney for my lunch. Never even touched it up, now if my wife has used it and put it in the doggone dishwasher it'll need sharpening! The...

I'm a Kit Gun addict, there I said it. Have trouble letting one pass thru my hands, especially a 32! Found this one while checking GB for a friend, probably paid more than I should, but then it's a 32SWL. not generally a fan of Rossi but I've a...

Biggest contributor to recoil difficulties is gun fit, you may like that stock but it doesn't fit you like it should. Thats assuming a typical weight shotgun. Now I'm a wing shooter but also compete and coach. When we run clinics a box in 10 minutes...

Better to kick yourself for passing on a gun than to kick yourself for buying it. Quite often a gun I REALLY like comes along after I pass on one that I only want to buy just because it's a good deal.
