I have owned one or had access to a .30-06 all my life. I currently own a M1903A3, M1917, M-1Garand and a REM 700 in .30-06. Love them all. But when I was able to Hunt w a scoped Rifle, I usually picked up a REM 700 in .270Win. First new rifle I...

After growing up reloading on all manner of presses with bicycle handle grips, I was thrilled when RCBS brought out the BALL Handle for the Green Machine or the 4X4. Can't remember which, don't have either anymore. But the 4X4 Handle with the BALL...

Norske, I disagree completely on the old .357Mag Factory load wearing out N-frame's quickly. My DAD had a Registered Pre-War .357Mag 8 3/4" that he regularly fired a load of the Thompson Gas Check 158gr bullet over a charge of 2400, way to hot...

I ask people to throw a tennis ball at a wall, and draw and shoot it before it gets back to you. That's how fast a bear moves, and the size of the brain you have to target.

You can make "demooner" by finding a piece of metal tubing 6inches long that is barely large enough to fit over a .45ACP round. Then cut off about 2/3 off one end of the tube about 1/8" deep. Then you put it over the cartridge in a moonclip and...

I use 28.0grs of IMR3031 over the Lyman #375449GC cast of Linotype. Gives me great accuracy out of a Winchester 1981-94-Chief Crazy Horse. Under 2" at 100yrds from the bench. That's 5 shots.

I have a bit of a problem with mine. Got it Xmas '17, I noticed right off that you had to drag the blade fast to start, otherwise you end up with a divot at the base of the blade. And you can't get the base of the blade sharp, because you can't get...

My old Chesapeake would do it. After I would find a fresh one in the spring I would show it to her, and for the next month or so she would go out in the bush and bring them back pretty regularly.

I like to cast from multiple molds I find that molds of the same Height make casting much easier & smoother I use 3+ molds at a time. Or even 4 if they are all 2cav. I cast from about 725degrees. Even with arthritis I can turn out a good 500...

When End of Trail was still in SoCal, back in the mid 1990's, a guy who owned a Gatling Gun (Carriage mount) brought it for a couple of years. You could shoot it for a buck a shot; $20 for a 20rd stick mag or $100 for a Eccles 100rd drum. Man it...

I've shot a lot of 4227 in the 06, it is a little position sensitive so you may want to use a filler although I don't. Most of my shooting is from a bench any more so I single load to keep the powder toward the rear of the case.

They start when you start the vehicle. They loop record, so are on all the time. If you have an incident you want to save, there is a button you push. Mine saves about three minutes worth.

Sounds like the bullets are undersized. Drop bullets in the cylinder. They should be able to be pushed through with a pencil eraser. If they drop right through, or push out too easy, they are too small.
