No they sure don't make them like they used too. I saw one at the True Value. I could lift it off the ground with two fingers of my bad hand. The one I bought when they came out in 1976 is built like a tank and still tough enough for an...

Would you really want to cast & load right out in front of a storage locker. Who knows what type of people would walk by, watch what you're doing. Maybe call the Cops or wonder how to break into your locker.

Sorry for your troubles. I've bought a couple of things off Craigslist, and looked at a few more locally. My Daughter bought a "WingChair" of craigslist. Only to have a leg break off 2 days later. It was threaded on and the threaded metal shaft...

That poor man, my PRAYERS go out to Him. I had a hunting Buddy years back that had the same injury, His 20ga Win model 12 blew up in the same place. One of the other Dove Hunters was using a 28ga SxS. That shell would slide into the chamber and...

I am very sorry for your loss. My Heart goes out to you. I'm watching the news as I'm "trapped" in the house because of COPD & severe sinusitis. Saturday the sky was yellow/gray from the smoke caused by the Woolsey fire. So many of those folks...

No matter what you do, you will not fool the nose of a buck or bull. You just need to play the wind game with them, and hope you win. There is a particular bush in front of my cabin that I pee on daily. Been trying to kill it for years. The deer...

Take a fired case, and slip a bullet in the neck. There should be slight resistance. That is what you are looking for. You aren't fitting a bullet to the bore, you need it to fit the throat.

I started my .25-06 Experience with one box of Factory ammo. By the time I bought Rifle, Scope/mounts & dies. I had enough for one box of ammo. I was lucky that I'd been hoarding 2lbs of SIERRA 117gr SPBT rejects for about a year. Luckily I...

Problem is, most times you won't get back your own meat. They do them in big batches. While you may have taken perfect field care of your deer, you are just as likely to get back some of Bubba's gut shot hairy mess.

When I get FTF in a batch of primers, I always check to see if I have a broken firing pin. Since you had misfires in two firearms, I'd say they are defective.

A good lesson for everyone, especially businesses. So many businesses don't keep hard copy records anymore. Major computer disruption, all the info is gone. Stores can't even make change anymore with electricity out.
