I remember WINCHESTER AA TRAP Loads at the old WINCHESTER-WEST, Watson TRAP & SKEET Range . 1970 $2.75 per box. Jeez, I loved that place. Even worked there in my Junior year of High School. They tore it down at the end of 1974 to build the...

I gave up on G&A when Robert Peterson died & his heirs sold off the Publishing Co. To the same folks that took over Shooting Times. They morphed into clones of each other. BLACK GUNS, BLACK GUNS, BLACK GUNS. Read a reloading story & do the numbers....

I have the TL-432-243-RF. It drops at .432 when cast of #2, TL with 45-45-10 it shoots 1 1/2" (5 shots) from the bench in my 20" WINCHESTER 94AE. Always thought about scoping it, to see what it would really do.

There is no single GP Bullet if you want both a plain base AND a gas check. N.O.E. or ACCURATE molds, they will cut the same mold with 2 seperate bullet designs.

That good pressure seal is why I use only REMINGTON BRASS in light loads. Starline is too hard & doesn't give a worth while gas seal. If your cases are that dirty & you ain't shooting BLACK POWDER, then you have a very poor or non-existent gas...

I'd dump the RUGER & send your 1911's to a COMPETENT GUNSMITH that can do a GOOD ramp/throat job, get some new QUALITY mags. Then a few springs from 11lb up to 17lb. Prep & load your brass on a quality single stage press with good dies from one of...

Don't you swab out your bore's/chamber's after every stage? HAR TRIGGER taught me that back in 1989. When I decided to try BLACK POWDER, after about a year of Men's Traditional Class. Taught me how to load BLACK in Cartridge & gave me a homemade BP...

I shot A LOT of SKEETER LOADS growing up, for the same reason SKEETER did. Brass for .38 spl was a whole lot cheaper & more plentiful than .357 MAGNUM CASES. We always kept our brass for those loads clean, sized, expanded, and primed. Ready to...

LEE doesn't list the "soupcan" anymore. Or you could go lighter: ACCURATE, 31-125, F OR FG

A good mold shelf makes all the difference. moving the molds as little as possible helps too. I fill the mold, move it 6-8" to the left, set it down. Pick up the filled mold next to it, move it 12-15" to the right (other side of pot) knock off...

350 degrees according to my BRAND NEW IFR. I've kept the knob turned to #4 (1-5 MAX) for 30yrs, use a cast iron diffuser plate for mold warmup and keeping hot while I fill the empty pot and switch to second pot. As far as BALL'S & MINI'S for...

I use T/C Bore Butter or LYMAN Black Powder GOLD in an old LYMAN 450 to lube & size Bullets for Black Powder Cartridges. I cast, then lube & size in the cool winters here in SoCal. Then the bullets are stored in the garage fridge. If I loaded & then...

I own 9 S & W DA Revolvers. All are pre-1980 guns. I have put more rounds down range through them and 5 COLT DA Revolvers in the past 60+ years. Never have I had a revolver of ANY KIND "DOUBLE" on me. Only time I've heard of anything like this...

That's the right way to do it. Also notice the notch on the front of the cock. If you guns don't have that, get out a file or Dremel and do it. It directs fragments away from the eyes, and helps split the fired cap for easier removal.

Not in California. All cartridge firearms that ammo can be made for, are considered the same as modern.
