Ok, so Steve (real fisher) and I have a yearly trip to the range. It's usually cold as hell, but its a good way to bring the new year in with a bang. I think its certainly time to have a LCC shoot/ meet and greet. There is a gravel pit out in Green Water, trail #70 that could accommodate a lot of shooters. But I am open for suggestions on a venue. I'll even see if I can get some vendor support.
If your interested in helping organize or just wanting to attend, please drop a confirmation in the reply section of this thread or pm me. Thanks guys. Let's do it! Justin

I am looking forward to being there if some upcoming health issues for me don't intervene.

How far off of 410 is this gravel pit? Is it actually on the FR70 or up a spur like FR72?

I have a couple people interested in going, not for the lcc meet and greet but just for the opportunity to go shooting in a group.

Out here on the Peninsula, everything over 1500 feet in elevation has at least a foot of snow on it and even shady places at 1000 feet are still covered. Can you still get to your shooting place? Currently I am thinking about trying to arrange a get together sometime this spring at the Jefferson County Sportsman's Assn range near Port Townsend. It might be worth it even if we just sit around and chat for a couple hours (a little shooting is better, of course) while the rest of the families head to town to shop and see the sights. I have only been a member for a years so I will ask around about the idea at the next meeting.

Quil, yes snow is deep up there from what I'm hearing. I also have to work night shifts on the eve and new years day.
So, unfortunately the 1st get together is officially postponed. Sorry to all that were hoping to attend.
    Justin
