I see we have a couple new members, I'd like to say Hi!
So what does everyone here like shootin?
    Myself I love about anything...
    Pistols for sure, 41Mag, .401 PowerMag , 44mag... on through the .38/.357's and 9mm ,
30 Mauser/Tokarev .32 S&W i just love em all.. Heck I even have a convert a pell system for The Mauser broomhandle that has a bad chamber, So I include that and pellet guns too!
Rifles.. pretty much anything as well, 45-70, 30-06, .308, 30-30, .280, .765 arg and all the way down to the .17HMR
Shotguns I don't get _as_ excited about, but that dont mean I don't love em too!

As far as actions go Pistol wise I love the revolver, but semis and fulls are so intricate and well... I really appreciate how they work alot.
Rifles I'd say Bolt is My fav and then trapdoor, break open , semis/fulls
Shotguns I am a sucker for break opens and then pump and semi, dont think bolts look right on a scattergun

I as of late had alot of fun loading 45-70 and .32 S&W (the short original) with BP , fun fun fun.
I love Bow's too, Long Bows the most.

I'd say castboolits has been an incredible resource for Me as I moved into reloading and now myself just getting into casting lead as well. just incredible source of info , so many Many good minds!
Anyhow, thats what I like shootin!

A WI lead breathers group, what a decent idea. How do you men keep casting in the winter. I am looking for a way to setup an exhaust fan without sucking the heat from my home. Ditto on the .41 and 44 mags. When it comes to firearms, I love them and hate them all depending on the day.

I do so in the doorway of the walkout basement a fan blowing out, not the best but then again not the worst either, I think dpunch just braves the cold

I will cast in the garage with the door open. Last year I was out in 20 below wind chill. It was cold, but I still loved it. Last week I cast around 150 for my 500 S&W, it is already getting a little warm. I wear long sleeves and have a face shield on with welding gloves. I only needed the lead to fly from the pot one time to be safe.

I see more new members here. Please let us know where you are from and what you like to cast for.

I am from Madison, WI. Dropping a note to say hi. I have Lee equipment. I have a 6 cavity H&G clone for bullseye shooting with my 1911. Most of what I will be doing is casting 45's. I also picked up a 358 tumble lube WC mold. I have a 309 round nose mold that's a 200 grainer. So far I have only shot the 45's that I cast. I cast a few 309's but haven't used the 358 yet.
