Savage 25???

Do any of you have experience with this particular gun? It intrests me just because it looks different with the bolt handle midway down the bolt and has some clean lines and an accutrigger.

My only personal experience with the Savage brand is the 99. I do know the newer models have pretty much the same reputation of being well built, accurate rifles, just as my old 99s have proven to be.

............It's essentially a short action centerfire built on an enlarged 22 RF type action (with locking lugs). It's also made in 2 relatively odd chamberings being the 5.45x39 and the 5.7x28. Surplus 5.45 x 39 was still darn cheap last I paid any attention to it.
