I got this mold out for the first time today and ran some lead.
I was thinking it was a plain base version of the 8MM GC mold, but no, not even close.
One it is plain base (Good), two it is Loverin Style lube grooves (good or bad, who knows), three it is 150 grains, not 175 . . .jury out on that too.
I added some plain ol lead to soften this to hunt with.
My goal is to make this into a 1600 fps hunting boolit for 50 yard shots on smallish deer.
Any experiences with this boolit? I know there are at least 24 more people out there that bought one.
