this is a question for members with multiple hollow point pins for the same mold.
If you change the pins do you change the load data?
Or do you shoot the same load?
I realize the weights may be slightly different, but was wondering if you shoot the same load, does the POI change?
Or do you adjust the load data and sights for different POI?

Most of my hp experiments have been with the .44 mag and revolvers. I use the same load for the different style hollow points and have not detected any differences in accuracy or poi.
My testing has been done at 50 meters, down to 25 yds.

DEPENDS

I can cast 200 grain HP with my Mi Heck brass mold. I don't change powder for the different HP's, But if I reverse the pins to give me solid points the mold gives me 212 grain.
Some say 12 grains is not much-- ( DEPENDS ) on what you call not much and what powder and what place you are at on the load scale.
EXAMPLE
One load I use is 4.8 of tite group for the 200 grain HP, very accurate for me.
The book list 4.8--5.4 grains for a 200 grain lead bullet.
But for the 230 grain bullet it list 4.00 ---4.8 so if I load 4.8 for the 212 grain solid I get a stout load, safe but it's pushing it. OAL is 1.190 for both.
So just to change HP pins I would say give the same charge a try.
But if the bullet weight changes use your common sense.
