Does anybody out there have any pet loads they would care to share for Lee's 105 gr SWC in .357 Mag cases. This would be for use in a Marllin 1894CSS (Ballard rifling)?

Second, has anybody had any success, accuracy wise, with Lee's 125 gr RNFP? Again, in the same rifle. Thanks for any help with these.

Scratching my haid, I only come up with a question of why in the cat hair would anyone want a 105 grain 35 caliber bullet in a rifle?

I like the Lee 125 grain RN boolits in 38 spl with 5 grains unique for plinking.

Never used the 105 gr. Have had good luck with the 125 gr. in 38 Spec. in a Colt Diamondback revolver. In your marlin pick a load about 1000-1200 FPS for a good plinking load. Your biggest problem will be the groove Dia. of your marlin barrel and your bullet being 1-2 thousands over that groove dia. for best accuracy.

I don't use the Lee bullets, but I do cast both weight bullets from Magma molds. I shoot the 105 gr. in my wife's and my revolvers for SASS, and the 125 gr. in our Marlin Carbines for SASS. I know several people who are shooting the 105 gr. TCFP Magma bullet through their carbines quite successfully. I've done it, just to see if they will feed and shoot accurately, and they do. I size mine at .358" for both bullets.

It's my practice to not post loading data on forums, due to the possibility of typos, misprints or just plain memory lapse. I'll PM you with what works for us, and we have fired thousands and thousands of these bullets in competition.

You'll need to load them to at least 1.480" OAL for them to feed reliably. These are all loaded into .38 Special cases and work flawlessly through our Marlins.

Hope this helps.
