Renegade sight question.

I am refinishing a TC Renegade and want to get rid of the factory sights in favor of fixed dovetailed sights. Has anyone done this that can lead me to a rear sight that will cover both factory sight holes? Thanks.

mellonhead, T/C once made a primitive rear sight that was to be screwed into those holes. I had one and it was a perfect fit. Even though you have to file the rear blade to adjust for elevation, it's got to be more convenient than cutting a dovetail. Try Track of the Wolf or better yet, call T/C's parts department to see if they have a used one available.
