Tinsel Fairy
sung to :On Top of Old Smokey
there lived an old lady
We all learned to dread
her name was the tinsel fairy and she was no jest
she loved to surprise you and shower your wall,
your tools, molds and ceilings
with sprinkles of lead
now if you were careful
and respected her fury
she never did show
but if you cast any boolits
with dew in your pot
your day was soon ruined
and you knew her too
your simple plans of ingots and boolits
cast of silver, tin and lead
soon would filled with fury and dread
now we can avoid her with planning and care
but a careless moment can bring her
and you will wish you were dead.
