It looks like the backlash from the big ammo hoard is starting to hit. Midway has CCI/Fed small pistol, Fed Large Pistol & Win Large Rifle primers on clearance. Some of the prices look darn tempting.

50BMG ammo is on clearance too, if you're into that sort of thing.

Let me know if you want to split a HAZMAT charge Jim.

I don't "need" anything but am always in the market if the price is right.

That's still more than what I'm paying localy. Bought 1000 Winchester Large Rifle primers last Saturday, $26.60 out the door.

Our Gander Mountain still is charging 49.00 per thousand. Rip off artists I tell you.

Graf still has the buy 16 lbs of powder and they eat the Hazmat

You can add more powder and primers to 50 lbs

Anyone local to the Toledo area interested ?
I could use 8 lbs of powder and 5 K of primers

Check Powder Valley prices...........change is weekly according to the market, I think. Last checked Wolf small pistol was $20/1000 and large pistol was $21/1000. Last month it was even lower.

One gunshop about a mile from me has WW and RP primers for $43+/1k. I can drive 6 miles across town and get them same primers for <$33/1k. These are both independent not chain gunshops. Haven't checked the local GM but they're awful high on a lot of things.

gentlemen,
if i have my story correct, tulammo has out bid wolf for the selling rights to primers from the murron factory in russia.
what that means is that what we know as "wolf" primers are not packaged as "tulammo" primers, but they come from the same factory, and have the same factory part numbers....my guess is that wolf primers are on clearance..and will shortly be replaced with tula.....

i current sell tulammo primers..its what came in my last order....

ohh and some prices went up

That makes me want to buy some because I really like the Wolf primers in what i've tried (5.56 and large pistol).

I live in Evansville. It's in the SW corner of the state. The high priced shop is Rajo's on West Franklin Street. The lower cost place is Strictly Shooting off the Lloyd Expressway on Congress Ave.

I see, I live in Brazil. Its over on the west central side of the state. I have to drive to Indy to find lover priced primers than Gander Mountain. There is just not any competition here any more for them. I think that is the reason they are so high on their stuff.

I haven't bought squat from gander mtn in the last 6-7 yrs because of their prices. Before the obamanation scare I bought a box of Winchester .30 Carbine at my local gun shop, $17.99. Was at gander mtn a few weeks later and the same ammo was $34.99! I've bought stuff on clearance there and got some good deals, but since I went into sticker shock on a box of .30 Carbine ammo for almost $35.00 I haven't been back...Not even to look and see what's on clearance.

May want to check out Midsouth Shooters. Looks like their prices are lower if not comparable.
