Went to the various gun shops today and what a day it was!!! Got a Marlin 336, the old one with the grooved reciever top, and an Italian Carcano in really good condition for 300.00 after tax. Even got 140 rounds of 30-30 and 15 rounds of 6.5 carcano included in the deal. now i need to get a 6.5 mold and some 30 cal gas checks. Anyone have experience with the 6.5 carcano?

Yeah, I GAVE mine away. I bought it from a friend who needed money because he was going through a divorce. The deal was that he would buy it back when he got on his feet. He never bought it back and I was afraid to shoot it. The locking lugs were so loose that I was afraid of the bolt coming back into my face. Congrats on the waffle top, awesome gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
