I have some 8mm Lebel cartridges that were formed from .348. Want to pull the heads and use the brass to form another cartridge. Problem is, my bullet puller won't handle the 348 case, base area is to large. I also want to save the heads for further use. Any help will be appreciated.

Get a press mounted bullet puller with an 8mm collet. RCBS makes a good one. You can pull the bullets without marring them. I've done it many times, I think I have three or four collets for mine.

Hornady also makes a press mounted bullet puller.

I did not know that you could pull heads off brass. Wow, you learn something new everyday. Do you need a head puller for that?
I can pull bullets out of loaded cartridges however.

If your using one of the hammer looking pullers and the case doesn't fit it. Find a washer or have a ring made that the case will fit in

I have a Hornady collet bullet puller. Mine is the old screw in version. Just purchase the unit and the collet for whatever caliber you need.

Shown below is the new cam lock version. I don't think you cqan get the original any more.

When using the hammer type pullers just use the appropriate shell holder from your press ram!

You can also try using a regular shell holder for that.
