They ought to be good.At 80$ for 20 rounds for most, ouch. I think it would be worth it to get ahold of a round and send the bullet to Hoch and have a mold made.

Garrett has been around for some time now. He uses water quenched wheel weight bullets. You can replicate those loads with a large meplat bullet, water dropped from WW and all the powder your shoulder can stand. There are several mold makers that produce these WFN designs for the 45-70.
It goes without saying you should keep these loads out of old rifles.
WQWW? so much for his special blend.

Try a 425 gr ranch dog mold for the 45-70
You can duplicate his results easily using that one.

I've always tumble lubed, but others have said you can size and lube with lubesizers just fine.

Ranchdog once said a lot of his customers size and lube in the usual way opposed to LLA
NOE has some 425 gr molds ready to go in the vendor sale section. Regular lube groves. I should quit pondering and pick one up.

I live about two miles from his place.
I have never even seen one of his cartridges.
I make anything he makes for about a nickel a round.
If he can make a business out of what he does, more power to him.
End of story.
Life is good
