Need OAL of a Lyman 450 push out rod...

Can someone please measure the overall length of their Lyman 450 Push Out Rod? It is item 12 in the parts list or part number 2990306.

No, it is the headed rod on the press that hits the "I" part to eject the boolit when you lift the handle...

2nd olde lyman 45 reads 2.942
3rd olde yman 45 reads 2.938
and last 4500 reads 2.940
soz dont have a 450 per say [shrugz]

Mine mikes at 2.950 overall. Lyman sells the part for the grand sum of $1.00

I should add I rounded my measurements off to the nearest 100ths. Not a critical measurement for this part.

This part is thge same for the model 45 and the 450.

Ya, I hear ya. You can make one from a 1/4 inch bolt and nothing more that a grinder & hacksaw.

I did make one once but I used my lathe, it's not a real precision part.
