I'm not that familiar with Elk City, so can't comment on it, but don't forget about "Scholwald's," in Weatherford. They are in the second or third generation of operation now & if they don't have it in stock will order for you. Then for the SP powders we have been using "Amer-I-Can Enterprises," owned by Jerry Hazelette, RR2, Box 86C, Hinton, OK, (405) 284-6869. He's close enough so that you could drive to Hinton & back & not spent the Hazmet charge in gas money. A phone call to him will get you his inventory.

oksmle,
My brother lives at Eakley, so I could just have him go to Hinton, and pick up what I need. Thanks for the contact info. BTW, do you live out around there??

No. I live in Moore just south of OKC. But my job (Petroleum Landman), means I have worked in the Court Houses of literally all the county seats in the state. At lunch time or after the Court House closes I usually hit the Gun/Pawn shops in these places. If I'm staying in one place for a month or so I usually attempt to line up some squirrel & rabbit hunting. There are even a couple of rifle ranges, one in the south eastern & another in the south central part of the state that I have gate keys to. Since our Military Bolt Action Bench Rest Match has spread to five different parts of the state I can go almost anywhere in it & not be too far from a range & a free meal.... Or maybe just a cup of coffee....
When you get settled make sure you stay in touch & we'll get together either in EC or OKC. If you come this way we'll get you entered in a match. Maybe Sundog & Orville will come down from T-Town.
Check with the Cheyenne chamber of commerce. At one time there was a very active trap or skeet club there, & is just up the road a piece from EC.

I lived in Moore for 7 years, left a year before the 1999 tornado. I don't own any milsurps, just lever and single shot. I didn't know about skeet club in Cheyenne. I'll check it out.
