The hurt never completely goes away. I remember my dad ( gone 24 yrs ago ,3 months before he could see his 1 st grandson. My wifes parents as is my Mom gone a few years. My best hunting pal Sam gone 14 yrs. I remember the good times and how blessed i was to have them in my life................Rick

My heart goes out to you. I've suffered the same loss and it can be shattering because there's always something "special" about Mom. She's the lady that brought you into this world, nurtured you and helped you grow up. She was always there for that bee sting, school play, or just give you a loving hug when your world was falling apart.

The only consolation I can offer is that time will heal you and the wonderful memories will be yours forever. Have faith.....it really does work this way.
