I've been using starline brass exclusively for a couple of years in 44 mag as well as 45-70. ( I'd buy everything starline if they would make bottle necked cases)

I just ordered a pile of 44 mag brass that is backordered with a given expected date. How good are they at meeting those dates?

Not that it matters, I will likely never exhaust my current run of brass, but I figured i'd put some back for a rainy day, along with some lead stores.

I've never ordered directly from starline, its a darn sight cheaper than ordering in small lots from retailers.

Good morning
So far they have come through for me.

I recently ordered 38SW and 45LC. The 38SW shipped immediately and I got the 45LC last week. I would say they are accurate with their date predictions. Also shipping was free.

Ive only ordered once from them. On the day I ordered the brass, they were 3 weeks from being available, shipped 3 or 4 days before the expected ship date. Positive experience on my part.

I've ordered from them about 5 times over the last 3 years and every item was back ordered. In every case, I had the back ordered items long before the re-stock dates. In some cases, months before they were due in.

I just got a box of 45-70 brass from them, came in a few days before their predicted delivery date. At half the price of Win or Rem cases for better quality, I am sold.

Same general experience here - got my brass about a week ahead of their projected time.

Usually much earlier than expected. I think they give us, the direct consumer, preference over retailers. Just a suspicion.

Every time I have ordered they have been back-ordered. Every time they have shipped well before that date.

About a week earlier than expected.
