I have a new barrel from H&R to play with. Got a bunch of .430 molds but would like a light plinker load. Anyone shooting 250s or less in their .444? I'm thinking maybe just around .44 mag velocities should be more comfortable for plinking. My .44 heavies are the RD 265 and the Lee 300 gr, if I need to stop a train.

At the moment I have one 444 Marlin set up with the Castboolits group buy 434-207GC !

But not at a plinking velocity , I've got it set up for deer !

I also have another 444 Marlin setup with the Lyman 429244 and again it's going kinda fast for deer .

I've also fooled with the Lyman 429215 and RCBS 44-225GC SWC . Both of these I've been pushing at deer velocities .

I suppose what I've said doesn't help you much , but the ones I've worked with shoot well in my rifles if you push them a bit . As to the Keith bullet I kinda prefer gascheck designs for any of my cast bullet guns .
