I need a .360 or .361 sizing die for my Star luber/sizer. I have .356, .357, and a .451+ that I would trade for the above.
Thanks, Ron

Polish out your least favorite die to your exact needs yourself. It's especially easy to do with a Star because it doesn't use a center piston. All you really need is an electric drill, a small diameter shaft with a slot in it and some emery cloth in a couple of different grits.

Thanks Bob,
I considered that and sending one off to have it honed out, but thought I'd try this route first. I'd try honing out one of my Lyman dies first though.

It's not difficult to do. Keep it in mind. Or Robert Stillwell could hone it out for you. I don't remember what he charges to do it...

Bob;
Problem solved. I took a Lyman .358 die and chucked it in the 4 jaw on my lathe and proceeded to hone it out to .360. I had some 38 wadcutters that I bumped up to oversize in a bench vice, then ran them through the new die. They came out at very close to .360 and were nice and uniform for roundness. Satisfied that I could do it without "egging" the die, I took the Star .357 die I have and honed it also. Turned out very nicly as well. Now when the new Lee 360 180 RF mold arrives, I'll be ready. I just hope it will cast at or over. 360 .

If not, you should be able to adjust you bullet diameter a bit with an alloy change.
