Damn rabies making a little outbreak in my area. My neighbor up the mtn son was attacked and biten by a racoon while he was playing in his yard. He's just a little tot and the damn coon nearly bit his thumb off. Poor little baby is going through the rabie shots. Then in town, yeah in TOWN, a rabbid red fox bit a young girl. She too is getting the shots. Neighbor says with so many folks posting their property that coon hunting has declined and that's not good to keep the pesky masked marauders in check.

Don't be getting any ideas about killing them animals; PETA won't allow that. PETA, the animal world's version of the ACLU.

Around here we have more outbreaks of distemper than rabies among the racoons. The subsonic 22's dispatch them real nice in town. Hopefully somebody will trap some and test them for rabies and distemper.

A few years ago in a town near me a guy found a dead bat. He took the bat to the local watering hole and had fun dipping it in his beer, and his buddies beer. He also kissed his girlfriend. After a while of course the bat got in the way of serious drinking, so it was discarded. Later on a sheriff's deputy thought it would be a good idea to have the bat tested for rabies. Both guys and the girlfriend had to get the shots.

Quite a haul. Must make CarpetMan jealous. Those kittens he kills don't look too impressive.
