For some reason I can't post PM's, emails or replies via this forum or the Reloader Forum.

I am getting this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /newreply.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Gunmaster can you help?

I'm not too smart on computers but here's a couple of things you can try:
Top of the page, left hand side, click on User CP; On that page in a column coming down the left side, click on Options; Check all the optional entries you have there, in particular the ones concerning Messages. You have to click Enable before you can send or receive PMs. This guarantees your privacy and won't let people send you PMs or Emails unless you agree to it. Hope this helps but remember that I'm a computer 'Dufus'...

All of that is OK. All this just started this morning and it is not consistent as I was able to post this thread and this reply....I hope.

Well....as Jack Benny use to say....I think there are some hidden problems with the new website. Everything works for me, including chat (don't know if that got changed or not) BUT the new website is ALOT slower for me then the old one. My average wait, say like I click on the Today feature, is almost a min. Now this is not 100 percent of the time, but more then 2/3's of it. So is it web traffic, site traffic, what?

You're not alone Robert

The speed has been the same for me. Clicking on "Today" brings it up immediately.

Don't know what is happening. I'm on slow dialup, and still generate pages in under a couple seconds. Your computer may be loaded up with spyware, or something else. Have you cleaned out all your old deleted emails, unused files, old music files, MP3's, picture files? Saving all these things onto discs, can free up lots of room, and make things a lot faster.

There are some hidden bugs that have creeped up since the server transition. I am going to be upgrading the software soon to hopefully rectify the problems along with increased security.

It's hard to tell what would be slowing it down for someone when some people says it goes fast, other's say it dont. I see page generation times at .50 of a second and below.

I just got word (thanks Stew) who helped figure this problem out. Apparently it has something to do with the @ symbol.
Check your PM's and see if they have an @ symbol in them (for example, sending an e-mail address jimbo@test.com) just switch it to something like "jimbo at test.com" until I get this figured out.

OK I have posted acouple of replies that went through ok. I also managed to get a PM out as well. The latter though is sporadic.
